A U.S. Air Force explosive ordnance disposal technician sweeps a metal detector for hidden explosives during a field training exercise at Forward Operating Base Gerber, Kuwait, Nov. 15, 2021. The 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Flight hosted the FTX which included members from the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, Royal Air force and Royal Australian Air Force. The multinational forces training included ordnance clearing, identifying homemade explosives, defeating unmanned aerial vehicles, improvised explosive devices and suicide vests.
