A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon is parked near a flightline fire extinguisher during Operation Agile Spartan at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Dec. 20, 2021. The 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron facilitated hot-pit refueling which allows aircraft to land, refuel, undergo a quick inspection, and take off as quickly as possible with the intent to increase the pilot’s strategic deterrence capability and resilience.
