380th EOD competes in skills challenge

Staff Sgt. Raul “Adrian” Ayala, an explosive ordnance disposal technician assigned to the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, sets up a laser pointer and a Percussion Actuated Neutralizer tool during an x-ray challenge September 8, 2022, at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates. By using a grid and x-ray imaging in tandem, EOD technicians can precisely target key components of explosive circuits without setting them off.
