386 AEW Airmen pay tribute to those lost 9/11, conduct 24-hours of marching

Tito Ruiz, 386 Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron commander (left), prepares to send his Airmen off on a memorial ruck march at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwaiti, 11 Sept. 2022 in remembrance of those lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Ruiz, who marched more than 2.5 miles earlier for the 24-hour ruck event, said “It’s important to remember the day that changed the course of our nation and to memorialize the lives lost as well as the sacrifices made by responders and civilians alike.
