Helping Agencies Host Run for Suicide Prevention
Red Tail Shield, the Chapel Corps, and Mental Health personnel at the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing host a 2.2 kilometer or 22 lap fun run for Suicide Prevention Awareness Month at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, Sept. 22, 2022. The run is being held to connect airmen to agencies that seek to address the causes of suicide before it is too late. Airmen run either 2.2 kilometers or 22 laps around the track to memorialize the 22 veterans who commit suicide daily on average. (U.S. Air Force photo by: Tech. Sgt. Jim Bentley)
