AMC C-17s bolster AFCENT humanitarian aid airdrops into Gaza
A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III assigned to Air Mobility Command is loaded with pallets of humanitarian aid destined for Gaza at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, March 21, 2024. Joint Base Charleston deployed C-17s to further enhance airdrop efforts to deliver humanitarian aid into Gaza. The U.S. has conducted 15 combined airdrop missions since March 2 to support civilian populations on the ground in Gaza. (U.S. Air Force photo)
