The Washington Nationals visit the Epicenter
An explosive ordnance disposal technician assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron helps Adam Eaton, former Washington Nationals player, don protective equipment at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, July 3, 2024. During their time in CENTCOM, the players, the team’s mascot and team representatives visited different career fields across the installation. Stops included a KC-135 Stratotanker and C-17 Globemaster III static display, followed by capabilities demonstrations by 379th ECES explosive ordnance technicians and 379th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron military working dog handlers.
