U.S. Air Force Major Zina Plummer, 380th Expeditionary Medical Element nurse, demonstrates the proper application of a bandage on a training mannequin to Emirati servicemembers during a tactical combat casualty care training in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, Nov. 11, 2025. TCCC is divided into three phases: care under fire, tactical field care, and tactical evacuation care, with the acronym MARCH, massive hemorrhage, airway, respirations, circulation, head injury/hypothermia, used to guide treatment priorities.
