9th Air Force (AFCENT) leadership updates COMACC on AFCENT of the future

Mark Kelly, commander of Air Combat Command, at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, August 13, 2021. The generals discussed future plans for Shaw, to include building resiliency of 9th Air Force (AFCENT) by increasing the number of Airmen who live and work here over the coming years. The first of these plans was realized this past spring with the repositioning of the ‘KINGPIN’ mission – and the more than 150 Airmen and coalition partners who support it - from the Middle East to Sumter.
