Runway Repairs
U.S. Airmen assigned to the 1st Expeditionary Civil Engineer Group fill trenches with concrete during runway repair operations at Qayyarah West Airfield, Iraq, Oct. 9, 2016. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) destroyed the runway by using heavy machinery and explosives to disrupt coalition forces from gaining control in the area.
