SECFOR provides safe surroundings for PRT Zacbul
Spc. John Lombardo, Provincial Reconstruction Team Zabul, man's his weapon in the turret of a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle as the vehicle blocks traffic near a bridge construction site in the Zabul province of Afghanistan in order to secure the site for it to be inspected. Members from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers were on hand to inspect the progress and quality of several bridges being built in the area.The PRT consists of members from the Air Force, Army and civilian agencies. Lombardo is deployed from the 181st Infantry Regiment, Massachusetts Army National Guard.

PRT embraces COIN Ops
Air Force Lt. Col. Andy Veres, Provincial Reconstruction Team Zabul Commander, and Staff Sgt. Nyx Nieves Lopez, 1st Combat Camera Squadron help provide security in the Daub Pass of the mountains in Zabul province in Afghanistan during a short halt. The PRT was returning from a supply delivery mission to Forward Operating Base Sweeney. The PRT consists of members from the Air Force, Army, and civilian agencies.
