386 EMXG welcomes new commander
Col. William Phillips assumes command of the 386th Expeditionary Maintenance Group and receives the guidon from Col. Clarence Lukes Jr., 386th Air Expeditionary Wing commander, during a change of command ceremony at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia June 3, 2016. Prior to assuming command of the 386 EMXG, Phillips served as the deputy commander of the 43rd Airlift Group at Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, N.C. Phillips will be commanding a group of Airmen responsible for aircraft maintenance support for C-130 Hercules, EC-130 Hercules, MQ-9 Reaper, and MQ-1 Predator aircraft assigned to the 386 AEW to conduct missions throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
