A group of military members ruck for sexual assault and prevention month on April 26, 2019 at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Sexual Assault is an issue that impacts almost every member in the military in some way, shape, or form. Coalition commemorates ANZAC Day 2019
Colonel Selahattin Soylen, Turkey’s Senior National Representative to the Combined Air Operations Center, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, lays a wreath of remembrance during an ANZAC Day dawn service April 25, 2019. Wreaths were also laid by representatives of Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Turkey’s participation in an ANZAC Day ceremony is a symbol of the partnership that has been built between Turkey, Australia and New Zealand since the Battle of Gallipoli, when the Anzacs and Ottomans were on opposing sides of the campaign.
