Patrick Cook, Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron VMGR-352 safety and survival aircraft mechanic, monitors the intake of liquid oxygen into a portable tank May 10, 2017, in Southwest Asia. Fuel technicians maintain all POL substances, from diesel and gasoline to jet fuel and liquid oxygen. Anniversary of airpower: Famous fighter squadron celebrates centennial while deployed
An F-22A Raptor with the 27th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron rests on the flight line after flying in support of Combined Joint Task Force- Operation Inherent Resolve at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, May 3, 2017. When the roll on beyond line of sight enhancement, a tactical communication system is added to a KC-135 Stratotanker it turns the aircraft into a communications center enabling the aircraft to relay information anywhere in the world. The ROBE system provides situational awareness, retasking and retargeting information to aircraft equipped with tactical data link; allowing them to share information between aircraft.
