Joint forces attend third Saudi Cultural Day
More than 500 U.S. service members from across Prince Sultan Air Base attended the third Saudi Cultural Days at the PSAB Museum, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oct. 14 to Oct. 16, 2021. The event was hosted through a collaborative effort between the Scientist Gifts Program, local members of the Royal Saudi Air Force, and the 378th Air Expeditionary Wing Host Nation Coordination Cell, to provide an opportunity for joint U.S. forces to learn about the history, culture and traditions of the nation of Saudi Arabia. Event attendees received an informational presentation, toured the museum, interacted with native animals, tried on traditional Saudi Arabian clothing, and enjoyed dates, tea, and other local food. The three-day event was the third of its kind held in 2021 and demonstrated the continued partnership between U.S. personnel and their RSAF partners at PSAB.
