386 AEW stands up innovation cell--Task Force 99.M

Staff Sgt. Blake Burleigh, 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron aircraft metals technology craftsman, designs a metal washer used on aircraft fuel trucks Aug. 5, 2021, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Prior to creation of this new tool being made, the personnel who operate the trucks used the original factory made plastic washer strike plate which would break and disintegrate over time, causing the refueling valve to become inoperable.
