AL UDEID AIR BASE, Qatar -- Airmen assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group Blood Transshipment Center at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, support the Central Command's area of responsibility by providing the right blood product to the right place at the right time in the right amount and the right temperature. The BTC serves as the central point for storage and inventory assessment of all blood products in the AOR.The BTC ships an average of 600 blood products weekly supporting 43 medical treatment facilities throughout the AOR.
