ALI AL SALEM AIR BASE, Kuwait -- 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron are participating in a rapid airfield damage recovery (RADR) exercise at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, March 31, 2021. When an airfield is damaged post attack, these Airmen are able to get the airfield functional again by conducting field assessments, gathering the necessary equipment and venturing out to repair the damage caused. RADR is similar to an assembly line process which allows for smoother and more efficient repairs.
