Behind The Curtain: Protecting the force, focusing on tomorrow
A force protection mural is placed by the force protection flight area at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, Sept. 4, 2019. The flight is assigned to the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron and it's manned by 132 Airmen from over 91 different AFSCs from around the Air Force and provide a security buffer between other country nationals such as contractors, their employees and the general base population.
