AUAB Airmen provide feedback on Qatar Development of Al Udeid
A dorm building stands under construction at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Aug. 10, 2020. The construction at Al Udeid is a Qatar-led, funded, and executed project to build 10 state-of-the-art dormitories, two dining facilities, and three mission support facilities slated for completion in the near future in an effort to increase quality of life for the service members at the installation. The 379th Expeditionary Mission Support Group leadership and those involved in this project brought Airmen to the dorm to get feedback on the layout and furniture to ensure it meets their needs. SAPR, SHARP host ‘Got Your Six’ Glow Run

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Phillip Martin, 379th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron non-commissioned officer in charge of Transient Town, assists a transient service member, Aug. 4, 2020, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. On average, the 379th EFSS processes roughly 500 people through T-Town weekly. The Al Udeid Transient Town was established in accordance with Department of Defense and U.S. Air Force policy that requires military installations, property, and personnel and other individuals working or residing on military installations be protected under applicable legal authorities against communicable diseases associated with biological warfare, terrorism, or other public health emergencies.
